A graduation ceremony

To become alumni of International Islamic University College (IIUC), students must participate in graduation ceremony. For the ritual, students must wear green rob and black cap. Then they must queue up to enter into hall. In the hall “selawat” music will play to welcome the students came in. After that, they must sit together in a group in front of the stage. They sit separately with their parent to differentiate between them. Next, the ceremony starts with speech from YAD Dato’ Setia Hj Mohmad Azib Mohd Isa who is chairman of Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS). The climax of the ritual is when a chairman of the ceremony calls student’s name. When the students hear their name, they walk up to and across the stage. Then the most important person (Dato’ Setia) of the ceremony gives a scroll for each student. The scroll symbolizes success. That is, it means that the students are successful to complete the study. It is not easy to finish the study if not have effort and patient. After that, they shake hands. At this point, student becomes a member of the alumni and sits back with the other members. Lastly, all the members take a picture to make a memory.

Hari Raya...ritual

Most Malaysia people majority are Islam. After complete fast during Ramadhan, they are exited for waiting and celebrate Hari Raya. Usually before go mosque, we should eat but is not compulsory to eat it. After that, they go to mosque to pray “Solat Hari Raya”. Many people join to pray there. At mosque, they are gathering and meeting each knows other. After finish pray they should listen a sermon by person who lead a pray. In Islam its call “Imam”. It so happening and they look so happy. They come with wear new clothes. Naturally they wear traditional clothes like “Baju Melayu” for man and for women they wear “Baju Kurung, Kebaya, Kebarung and Jubah”. It looks very nice and beautiful. After finish pray, they go back home and normally each family will apologize and shake hands each other because before this they might make a mistake for that person. By this way it cans tight the relationship between them. This is the special about celebration of Hari Raya.

My favorite toy when I was a child

I liked played remote control car, Tammia when I was a child. My father was gave it during my birthday when I was 10 years old. The color is very nice ( red plus black) and it look so expensive although I don’t know how much it is. I was so happy with the present because this is my favorite toy that I dream off. Every evening I was played Tammia with my brother but sometimes I play with my friend. Usually I played with boys friends because we have same interest. I played it near my house. My mum not allowed me to play far from her eye because she worried if something happened to me. I was so happy during that time and hope one day I have change to play it again.

My perfect career

My idea of the perfect career is business. I am going to become a business woman for three reasons. First, business is interesting career. I want to be a good boss . I can develop and build my company by own idea. After that, I want to open many branches and have many labors. I want to treat them to be professional labors and they can give good services to help people. Second, I like to explore and analysis. Good business is a good marketing. I like meet people to get information about human behavior and attitude. At the same time I will build connection with others. After that I will analysis the information. This is very interesting job. Third, I enjoy helping people. I am very satisfy if my product can solve peoples problem. It makes me happy. I might have problem to start the business especially experience. I don’t have any experience before but I ready take the risk.

best activities...

When I was 7 years old, I learned a lesson about family relationship from my favorite activity, creating adventure games with my two brothers (Dea and Iwan) and my sister (Kakak). We took the full night to play the game. We used all cushion at my house, blanket, mattress, clip and pillow. Our project started at Friday night when my parent was slept. Usually we started the games around 2 or 3 o’clock. I will sleep first and then my brothers to awaken me at silent voice to avoid from my parent know our project. Now time to play!! Our strategy is we are taking the all cushions and putting it at each stair. First we will put the small pillow inside our clothes as apart of our defender to avoid any injury. Now we are ready to play. We slide down like superman and we compete each other to win the game. The winner will continue for the next game and who lost this round need to waiting for next round. Usually I’m always lost the game because I’m not expert and I’m the youngest person around them. While I’m waiting my turn, I play umi’s shoes and walk like model lonely. Huhu..so funny… Next project is we build a tent at Dea’s room and create together base on our creativity. We choose Dea’s room because it is far from my parent room and they can not detect if we noisy. We took around 30 minute to complete the tent. After finish, we ready to sleep. We are so tired, we did not think anything and we just slept. When we wake-up at the morning, we look that our tent was collapse because we not used the strong materials but we don’t care anymore because we are so happy last night and our mission is complete. From this experience, I learned the importance of teamwork and understanding for each other to finish and complete the activity successfully.

Sweet memory?

Everyone has their own memory and me to.....it is depending on individual to take it as sweet or painful memory...

Since I’ll still young, my mum was sent me and my siblings at baby-sitter’s house. I was growing-up there. Before my parent go to office they will drop us at the house. The baby sitter’s name is Azizah but we call her is Mak Zah. She is very fierce. Her voice is very loud. Most people at Greenwood Park know her sound. Everyday she will angry to me. In a day I will count how much time her not angry with me. Since I back from school until I back home, I will count that. She will angry when I am not going to bath, change school uniform, pray, read Al-Quran with ‘Ustaz’ and eat. But she more angry when know I eat junk food. I really like it.

I am so thankful if she not angry to me. But it is impossible. If she not babble I feel something wrong with her.

Actually the mistakes start from me. Well as a student, after back from school I am so tired I want to rest, sleep, watching television and so on. So I will ignore what she talks. After that she will babble. It is so noisy. I am so dogged. Huhuh...

She is not only as baby sitter, she also wash my clothes and cook for my family. Although she is hot tamper person, she is very kind and good person in the world. She likes help people. From her educate, I am become a discipline, independence, brave and out spoken person. When people condemn or angry with me, it is not effect to me. I am not take it is a problem.
I still remember when my teacher was angry to me because I am not finishing the homework. Not only have me not finished the work but my friend to. Our teacher so angry with us. My friend was crying after punishment but not me. I am sad but I can’t cry. I do not know why. I don’t know how to express my feeling.

Till now Mak Zah still cook for my family but only this duty. When I have free time, I will visit her. She likes my mum. When I have a problem I will talk to her because she will give the brilliant idea. This incident was given positive and negative effect to me. But I just take positive line. It is vey sweet memory when I refresh back=)

BUY SOMETHINK JUST FOR ITS IMAGE

Usually what are the criteria you should have to buy a product? Has it is because of image, function, need or want? What do think? Emmm..


Advertisers use a medium to promote their product to attract customer to buy the product. Normally they use system communication like television to publish their product. This is easy way to promote the product because people like child spent more time to watching television. They also advertise at the public transport like train, taxi, and bus. Other than that, they also advertise in the website to inform other people about their product.


Usually the advertisers use a celebrity as a duta of product like Siti Nurhaliza to commercial their product. She is a duta of Olay cosmetic product. Her popularity and good personality makes people wants to be like her. Many people especially Malaysian people know her as a singer and she has a beautiful face. The effect is many people want to purchase the product to become like her. This is a good strategy to promote the product as well as to generate profit.


It shows that, the image can attract people to buy something without think about quality and the suitability for their self. As consumer, they should care about their healthy to avoid any affection in the future. They should think about the budget before buy something to avoid wasting the money.
